The effects of poverty doesn't only contain: starving because of starvation or lacking the nessessary medical requirements to survive of your poverty. Most of the time, most people who die of poverty couldn't survive of the physical or mental health problems. These problems can effect them by not letting them get up in the morning or not getting them a job, preventing them to go out of poverty. Since this is happening over 270 million people have died concerning poverty. 9 - 10 times children die before thier 5th birthday. Over 11 million have died.
